Effective email marketing campaign solutions

Email marketing campaigns create much more interest when they include highly visual content. This ultimately means you don’t end up in someone’s junk folder. Within this post, we wanted to list some companies who can assist with a much more visual email marketing campaign. Overall, this space is pretty crowded with solutions. Companies offer comprehensive email marketing solutions ranging from $15 per month to $250 per month, depending upon the size of your campaign and mailing list. The major players in this area include Benchmark,, Campaigner,, Constant Contact and MailChimp.

Benchmark is a good company for creating an email marketing campaign. They are able to walk you through all the steps to build supporting dynamic landing pages as well. They have a quick YouTube video on the company and its services. One of the major features of this tool is the wide range of templates available for your emails – they mention that there are over 500 templates that you can use.

GoDaddy is well known for their domain registrar services and web hosting solutions. However, they also package a solution called “Go Daddy Express Email Marketing.” You’ll notice many of the same features as other email marketing companies such as dashboards, reporting, templates, etc. One of the things that stands out for GoDaddy is their large image library of images (over 20,000 available). So, if you are looking for easy access to images for your emails, this may be a decent solution. True to GoDaddy’s standard play, they present a 70% discount compared to other similar solutions. So, you’ll sacrifice some of the bells and whistles for a very affordable email marketing solution.

Campaigner is a very affordable email marketing solution that offers most of what you’re looking for at $10 per month. This solution is on par with GoDaddy’s solution at the same price and they state to offer quite a few tutorials, examples, etc. to help along the way. Campaigner also provides some content samples to help your emails cut through the noise.

iContact is a popular solution for small and medium-sized businesses. One of their strengths involves an industry-leading deliverability rating. Deliverability is important – if your email gets stuck in the spam filter, then you don’t even have a chance to get in front of your audience. The solution also includes a very robust dashboard for monitoring your campaigns. The company has a webinar on YouTube outlining their solutions.

Constant Contact

Constant Contact has been around since 1998, which equates to forever in this industry. The company states that they have over 450,000 subscribers, so this means you’ll see more help on forums, etc. The company also states a high deliverability rating and prides itself on upholding anti-spam policies. Constant Contact is just a shade more costly than other competitors, but many find that the price is justifiable.

One of the key advantages of using MailChimp is their interface. At 522 Digital, we use this solution for many of our clients and ourselves. The interface is very intuitive and provides many of the features the average email marketer needs. With tight WordPress integration, MailChimp offers quite a bit at $10 per month.

All in all, there are several feasible solutions for boosting your email marketing campaigns. Since email is a more mature marketing strategy, you’ll find that a few solutions can fit into your existing workflow. The most important thing is to find a product that allows you to integrate with other components (i.e., your CRM system) and monitor the results.
