When it comes to your brand identity, one of the most important choices to make is what colors you will use to represent your brand. Each individual color projects a very different message, from sophistication and timelessness to exuberance and creativity. There are a few simple rules you can follow to further help you choose the colors that will represent your brand. First, use the 60-30-10 rule. This means that you should choose three colors to work with using a ratio of 60%, 30%, and 10%. Second, be sure to choose a color that is the opposite of your main competitors. This will help your brand stand out. Finally, remember to keep your audience in mind. Choose colors that you know will resonate with your target audience in terms of gender, age, interests, and other key factors.
